LINCOLN, NE — [November 11, 2025] — Garner Industries LLC today announced that it will soon operate under a new name: BinMaster Sensors and Technologies LLC.

The new name reflects the company’s continued growth, innovation, and commitment to delivering advanced sensors, software, and technologies that help customers make smarter, safer, and more informed operational decisions.

“While our name is changing, our values and our commitment to excellence remain the same,” said Scott Hudson, President of BinMaster Sensors and Technologies LLC. “The BinMaster Sensors and Technologies name represents who we are today and where we’re going — a company that builds on a proud legacy while embracing innovation and new opportunities to serve our customers better.”

Resilience and Growth After the April 2024 Tornado

In April 2024, a devastating tornado destroyed the Garner Industries campus in Lincoln, Nebraska. Despite the total loss of its headquarters and manufacturing operations, the company quickly recovered — relocating offices and rebuilding production to continue serving customers with minimal interruption.

Since then, the company has experienced rapid growth. The company acquired Senix, a leader in ultrasonic sensing technology, and HerdStar, the manufacturer of BinTrac® feed and industrial bin weighing systems and MicroZone livestock heating control systems. These strategic additions have expanded the company’s expertise and product offerings into ultrasonic measurement, feed management, and advanced sensing and control technologies.

Expanding Capabilities Across Brands and Locations

Today, BinMaster Sensors and Technologies operates from new, modern facilities in both Lincoln, Nebraska, and Mankato, Minnesota. The company continues to expand its respected product lines — BinMaster, Senix, BinTrac, and MicroZone — while investing heavily in new product development and strategic acquisitions that align with its long-term vision.

“Our success is the result of the dedication of our people and the loyalty of our customers,” Hudson added. “Together, we’ve turned a year of challenge into one of transformation, and the best is yet to come.”

    Looking Ahead, Honoring the Past

Over the coming weeks, the company’s new name will begin appearing on websites, product materials, and communications with customers, suppliers, and partners.

Garner Industries, BinMaster, Senix, and HerdStar remain integral to the company’s history — and to its future. Hudson summarized, “The strength and values of its legacies and our talented people are core to the transformation into BinMaster Sensors and Technologies and to our dynamic, innovative growth.”
