Gerard Machine, LLC Acquired by Local Business Owners Ben Bertram and Eric Stankevitz

KAUKAUNA, Wis. — Gerard Machine, LLC, a Kaukauna-based precision manufacturing company specializing in Swiss CNC machining, was officially acquired on April 27, 2026, by local business owners Ben Bertram and Eric Stankevitz from founders Nick Gerard and Dan Wynboom.

Gerard Machine has built a strong reputation for precision machining, customer service, quality, and on-time delivery. The company specializes in Swiss CNC machining, a process known for producing small, complex, high-volume components with exceptional accuracy. Gerard Machine’s capabilities include turning, milling, drilling, tapping, broaching, threading, sawing, engraving, and other operations that can often be completed in one setup, helping customers reduce lead times and improve efficiency. The company also promotes the ability to hold extremely tight tolerances, down to ±.0001”, making it a strong partner for customers requiring highly precise parts.

As part of the transition, Nick Gerard will remain with the company and continue running daily operations. Dan Wynboom, who helped build the company from the beginning, is enjoying retirement.

“We are excited to continue building on the foundation Nick and Dan created,” said Ben Bertram. “Gerard Machine has earned a great reputation through hard work, technical ability, and a commitment to doing things the right way. Our goal is to support the team, invest in the future, and continue providing customers with the same quality and service they have come to expect.”

Eric Stankevitz added, “Gerard Machine is a great Wisconsin manufacturing business with a skilled team and strong customer relationships. We are proud to be part of its next chapter and look forward to helping the company continue to grow.”

The acquisition is expected to provide continuity for Gerard Machine’s customers while creating new opportunities for growth. With Nick Gerard continuing to lead daily operations, customers can expect the same focus on precision, reliability, and responsive service that has defined the company.

Gerard Machine is located at W5051 Amy Avenue, Unit 13, in Kaukauna, Wisconsin. The company serves customers across a variety of industries with Swiss CNC machining solutions ranging from prototypes to high-volume production runs.

Eric Stankevitz is the owner of Next Phase Excavation, LLC, based in Lena, Wisconsin. Ben Bertram, along with his wife Amy, owns and operates Fiberglass Solutions, LLC and Performance Insulation of Wisconsin, LLC, both based in Green Bay, Wisconsin. Together, Ben and Eric bring a hands-on, Wisconsin-based ownership approach focused on supporting employees, serving customers, and continuing the growth of Gerard Machine.
