Global manufacturer of CNC automation systems, Tezmaksan, has launched the CubeBOX™ Blues RT-VISE, a compact automation solution developed for high-mix, low-volume production environments. Designed to automate vise handling, the loading and positioning of clamped workpieces, the system supports consistent machining while reducing manual intervention in precision manufacturing settings.

At its core, the CubeBOX™ Blues RT-VISE is built around a 6-axis industrial robot and a rotary table, allowing it to manage automated vise loading and unloading across one or two CNC machines. This setup allows operators to prepare multiple workholding configurations in advance, reducing downtime and enabling faster job changeovers.

The ability to automatically load multiple pre-prepared vises also supports lights-out manufacturing. As a result, CNC machines can continue operating unattended during breaks, overnight shifts and other periods when operators are not present.

A key advantage of the system is its compatibility with a wide range of clamp types, allowing manufacturers to work with different part geometries and setups without requiring dedicated tooling. This makes the RT-VISE particularly suited to boutique manufacturers, subcontract machinists and specialist component producers, where flexibility is essential.

The system is supplied with a teach pendant, a robot controller and an industrial PC running Tezmaksan’s RoboCAM+® software. Designed for ease of use, RoboCAM+® allows users to define part positions and handling sequences through an intuitive interface, eliminating the need for complex robot programming.

“RoboCAM+® simplifies how manufacturers move from design to production by translating computer-aided design (CAD) data directly into robot movements,” said Hakan Aydogdu, CEO at Tezmaksan. “This reduces setup time and helps ensure consistent handling across different parts and batches, particularly in environments with frequent changeovers.”

Designed with a compact footprint, the CubeBOX™ Blues RT-VISE fits easily into smaller workshops while still providing the capability to automate key machining processes. Its modular structure allows it to be adapted to different machine layouts, offering a practical route into automation for manufacturers looking to increase output without major changes to their existing setup.

“The CubeBOX™ Blues RT-VISE is intended for manufacturers who need flexibility across a wide range of parts and batch sizes,” added Aydogdu. “By automating vise handling, the system supports more consistent production while reducing reliance on manual processes, particularly in workshops managing frequent job changes. It also helps manufacturers extend machine utilisation through lights-out operation.”

The CubeBOX™ Blues RT-VISE expands on Tezmaksan’s existing CubeBOX™ range, providing an additional option for manufacturers seeking to introduce automation into smaller-scale or specialised production environments.
