    Chicago, Illinois, March 5, 2011 ‐‐ Combining the technology of a world‐class machine tool builder with the expertise of a renowned Research & Development facility, Mori Seiki’s Digital Technologies Laboratory (DTL) will demonstrate the industry’s leading‐edge machining methods at the annual INNTERCONNECT showcase taking place on April 7 & 8 in Davis, CA.

    This once‐yearly event gives machine tool users access to over 80 engineers specializing in software development, programming and shop floor networking solutions.  Technical seminars at the two‐day event will be presented by industry specialists and span several innovative topics including: Solutions for Sustainable Manufacturing, Expanding Production, Shop Floor Communications & Connectivity, Changing Strategies in the Dental Market and Applications for Laser Machining Technology.

    A limited number of small‐group presentations will be given to exhibit new strategies, tips and tricks from the experts with programming and networking challenges. Sessions will be repeated daily on:   Manufacturing Suite for Post Processing & Simulation, Shop Floor Networking with Ethernet IP, Best Programming Practices in Esprit CAD/CAM and Flexible Manufacturing Systems (LPS‐III for Linear Pallet Pools).

    DMG / Mori Seiki USA’s inventive machining solutions will be demonstrated, with over ten opportunities to see live cutting. Machines both small and large will be highlighted, including Mori Seiki’s NMV1500DCG, NL2000SY and NH8000, as well as DMG’s DMU50, Ultrasonic 10 and CTX Beta 1250 TC.
