    Code of Conduct for Our Event

    All attendees, speakers, and partners at MARKT-PILOT events are required to adhere to the following Code of Conduct, which is enforced by the event organizers at all conferences. We kindly ask everyone to interact respectfully and contribute to making our conferences a safe and enjoyable space for all.

    Overview

    We aim to provide a harassment-free experience for everyone, regardless of gender, sexual orientation, disability, appearance, body shape, skin color, political views, or religion. We do not tolerate harassment, insults, or discrimination against attendees, speakers, team members, or partners. Sexualized language and imagery are also not welcome at our events. This applies to all event venues, including talks, workshops, evening events, as well as online platforms such as LinkedIn, X (formerly Twitter), and other media.

    Participants who violate these rules may face sanctions by the organizers (MARKT-PILOT), including immediate expulsion from the event.

    Detailed Code of Conduct

    “Harassment” includes, but is not limited to, offensive comments related to gender, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body shape, skin color, political views, or religion; sexualized images in public spaces; deliberate intimidation; stalking; following someone; unwanted photography or recording; repeated disruption of talks or other events; unwelcome physical contact; and unwelcome sexual attention.

    Anyone asked to stop such behavior must comply immediately. These rules also apply to partners, exhibitors, service providers, and speakers.

    If participants exhibit harassing, offensive, or discriminatory behavior, the organizers reserve the right to intervene as deemed appropriate. This may include warnings or expulsion from our conferences.

    If you feel harassed, notice someone else being harassed, or encounter other issues, please contact a MARKT-PILOT team member as soon as possible. Team members can be easily identified by their name badges.

    Support and Assistance

    Team members and staff from the organizers (MARKT-PILOT) are available to assist with any issues and to find solutions that ensure affected individuals can enjoy a safe and pleasant conference experience. Thank you for your support; we greatly appreciate your contribution.

    Our team is happy to help you contact the venue’s security team, local law enforcement, or support services, provide escorts, or otherwise assist you in feeling safe during the event.

    Expectations

    We expect all attendees to comply with these rules throughout the event, including evening gatherings and any related activities.
