    GibbsCAM Founder to Speak at Okuma Open House

    MOORPARK, CA – November 1, 2012 – Gibbs and Associates, developer of GibbsCAM® software for programming CNC machine tools and a Cimatron (NASDAQ: CIMT) company, announced today that its founder and president, William F. (Bill) Gibbs, will be the speaker at the Okuma “Go Beyond Productivity to Profitability” open house, in Houston, Texas. Okuma and machine-tool distributor Hartwig will have nine models of multi-axis lathes, multi-axis mills and multitasking machines on display and in operation, running CNC programs generated with GibbsCAM. Okuma partners will also exhibit peripheral equipment at the Houston Open House event, which will be held on Thursday, November 15, 2012, from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM Central Time, at the Okuma Houston Tech Center, 4727 South Pinemont, Suite 200, Houston, Texas.     Mr. Gibbs, who has an extensive background in mechanical design, CNC programming and CAM software development, is frequently sought out as a speaker on topics such as developments in machine-tool technology, implementation of multi-axis and multi-tasking CNC machine tools, and productivity and profitability through use of CNCs and CAD/CAM software. He is president of Gibbs and Associates, and Cimatron North America, and serves as vice chairman of Cimatron Limited.

    The Okuma machines featured at the open house, and programmed with GibbsCAM by Okuma distributor Hartwig Houston, include:

    LB 3000EX – double spindle, single turret, Y-axis lathe
    MULTUS B400 – 5-axis horizontal lathe with B-axis head

    VTT-70 – 4-axis double turret vertical lathe (turning only)
    2SP-V40 – 4-axis double turret vertical lathe (turning only)

    LU300 – 4-axis double turret horizontal lathe (turning only)
    LOC-650 – 4-axis double turret horizontal lathe (turning only)

    Millac-1052 – 4-axis vertical mill
    GENOS M560 – 4-axis vertical mill
    MA-600II – 4-axis horizontal mill
