SmartBench PrecisionPro is a much better buy than a hand-held CNC

Purchasing a CNC router is a significant investment, whether the machine is a large-format portable router such as a SmartBench or a hand-held CNC – but Yeti Tool believe that a SmartBench PrecisionPro is far superior to a hand-held CNC.

Andy McLaren, co-founder and Director at Yeti Tool, commented:

“We appreciate that it is critical whether the CNC router needs to be worthwhile, reliable and easy to use, regardless of if it is being used for a commercial CNC business or for personal projects by a hobbyist.”

“We believe that our portable routers are far superior to hand-held CNC devices for businesses requiring CNC and for individuals looking for a superb router for their hobby projects,” Andy added.

Traditional flatbed CNC routers offer autonomous operation, large-format and 3D carving, which hand-held CNC machines cannot match.

“SmartBench is the world’s only portable large-format CNC router offering these options for users, and for a lower cost than a traditional large-format CNC machine, as well as giving more flexibility than a hand-held CNC,” said Andy.

“SmartBench is completely autonomous, meaning that users don’t need to hold it. This present a major advantage over a hand-held CNC. SmartBench operates with all 3 axis for carving, unlike a hand-held.”

SmartBench is competitively priced meaning that hobbyists have an easy cost justification when it comes to purchasing one over a hand-held CNC router.

It is also storable when not in use, meaning it takes up very little room, is portable for hobbyists to take it anywhere, has a low energy consumption, and also gives a huge amount of accuracy for the investment made.

“SmartBench has a host of unique features that make it stand out from hand-held CNC machines. These include AI milling, ease of use, speed of use, and free online learning resources,” said Andy.

“SmartBench PrecisionPro is a much better buy than a hand-held CNC,” concluded Andy.
