Delcam North America will celebrate the 30th Anniversary of its first customer in North America with a special celebration scheduled in September at IMTS 2012. This special occasion will not only mark our 30th Anniversary in North America but also help us to say thanks to customers and partners on the tremendous success we have had throughout 3 decades.
North America sales were initially set up through resellers in the early 1980’s but with such a large potential and manufacturing at its peak Delcam took the incentive and founded Delcam International with a single office in Windsor Ontario. As the business developed, further sales partner offices were opened, in Michigan, Illinois, Wisconsin, Ohio, New England. Delcam North America now employs 75 people, who support more than 15,000 customers. These customers come from a wide range of industries, including automotive, aerospace, consumer products, engraving, healthcare, marine, motorsport, packaging and toys. Products such as FeatureCAM and PartMaker are both developed here in North America, through the R&D teams out of Salt Lake City, UT and Fort Washington, PA
