From December 8-9 at the Westin La Paloma Resort in Tucson, AZ, the 2024 SME Arizona Conference will feature expert speakers, enlightening technical sessions and lively networking events, platforming the remarkable advancements driving the mining industry forward.
The conference program covers the latest regional developments in the areas of mining, environment, geotechnical, mineral processing, geology, and new projects. Special highlights include a keynote session regarding tailings governance presented by Christopher N. Hatton, Senior Vice President I, Geotechnical Engineer, and Technical Fellow at WSP. The conference luncheon will include an address regarding innovation in mining from Cory Stevens, Senior Vice President (Freeport-McMoRan); President, FM Technical Services. “As a mining powerhouse and top mineral-producing state, Arizona is at the epicenter of key innovations in many key areas, including sustainability,” said David L.
