    DOOSAN APPOINTS NATIONAL SALES MANAGER

    Pine Brook, NJ – Doosan announces the appointment of John Crean to National Sales Manager for the company’s Machine Tool Division. In this capacity, Crean will be responsible for coordinating the sales activities of the Division’s more than 40 distributor organizations located throughout North-, South- and Central America.

    Announcing the appointment, Jim Shiner, Doosan’s Director of Sales & Marketing, describes Crean as “a sales professional, with more than 30 years experience in the metalworking industry.” Crean brings a diverse background with builder, importer and distributor experience. Prior to joining Doosan, he was Sales Manager with Meredith Machinery, Sales and Product Manager for Fanuc RoboDrill’s and Methods Machine Tools, and Vice President of Boston Digital Corporation. His sales responsibilities encompass a broad array of metalworking equipment, including robotic integration and custom machinery.

    Crean earned his BS degree in Business and Marketing from Richard Stockton College in 1981, and was a founding member of the AMTDA Certified Machine Tool Sales Engineer Program in 1993.
