CHARLOTTE, N.C. (October 27, 2016) – Okuma America Corporation has been awarded the ISO 9001:2015 certification by PRG Inc., (Preferred Registrar Group). Okuma is the first, and currently the only CNC machine tool builder to earn the latest ISO (International Organization for Standardization) certification.

This standard is based on a number of quality management principles including a strong customer focus, the motivation and implication of top management, the process approach and continual improvement.
